North Washington Social Hall
HALL RENTAL
The North Washington Social Hall seats a maximum of 350 persons.
Listed below is information concerning renting the North Washington VFD Social Hall. You will be required to sign a contract at the time of making your reservation. For more information and a copy of the contract, please contact:

Rentals are allowed for benefits/ showers/ wedding receptions/ birthday parties/ etc.

A security deposit of $200.00, along with the balance of the rental cost, is payable one week prior to the scheduled rental date. (This allows time for the checks to clear the bank. There is a $20 charge for returned checks. The renter will have one week to make good on a returned check, or rental can be refused unless other arrangements can be made.)
If the hall and grounds are left undamaged and the hall is cleaned, the $200.00 deposit will be refunded to the renter.
A cleaning fee of $100.
Hourly rates are available for baby showers, reunions, birthday parties, anniversary parties, etc. at a rate of $150.00 for no more than six (6) hours with a $150 security deposit or $300 for twelve (12) hours with a $200.00 security deposit. When the hall and grounds are inspected and if there are no damages or cleaning required, your deposit will be refunded. These rates do not apply to weddings.
Wedding Receptions are $500.00 which includes a $100.00 cleaning fee. A $200.00 security deposit is required at the time of booking. Keys for the hall may be obtained at 2 p.m. on Friday for Saturday weddings and renter/guests must vacate the hall by 1 a.m. Saturday night/Sunday morning.
The renter agrees that all activities and entertainment will cease by Midnight (12AM).
The hall and grounds will be inspected and if no damages are found, your deposit will be refunded.
Please observe a few rules:
If the renter wishes to have the NWVFD Auxiliary prepare, serve and clean-up after the meal, rental of the hall will be $200.00 plus the charge of so much per dinner, if they have a band or DJ they are expected to leave the hall in order, i.e. trash picked up, floor in big hall swept, tables wiped and chairs on top of tables. Rental will be $100 if no DJ or band.
Use of kitchen facilities - renter may use sinks for clean up.
Renter may use one (1) designated refrigerator for storing cold items.
Electric may be used for warming in their roasters.
Renter will not be permitted to use serving utensils, plates, cups, glasses, silverware, ovens, or place heavy objects in the sinks, or coffee pots. Anyone requesting these items should have them listed in the last section of the agreement/contract, approved, and initialed by President.

- When the air conditioner is on, please keep doors and windows closed.
- No tacks or nails in the walls. Please use masking tape or party tack.
- No sitting or standing on tables or counters.
- If the Ladies Aux. caters the meal and you make reservations for 200, you will pay for 200. If there are more people, we will notify the renter and they along with an Auxiliary member will count the extras. You will be responsible to pay for extra meals.
- If you pay for all the food and prepare it, then after the help has eaten, you can take all the food home that is left over.
- If you have reservations for 200 and only 150 attend, then after the help has eaten, you can take the remaining food home. Please bring containers.
- If there are any questions, please ask! We want to keep our hall as nice as we can and we know that you do, too!
